Navigation Walk and Talk Workshop

The County Mountaineering Team is running a ‘walk and talk’ workshop in the Chiltern Hills, aimed at leaders and adult helpers, with particular emphasis on providing navigation help and support for those with teams taking part in this year’s Chiltern 20. This is a chance for a gentle stroll in some beautiful scenery with the added benefit of having one of our team along to answer any questions you may have about maps, compasses and anything else you’d like to know about navigation. You will also have the chance to practice these techniques along the way. The workshop content is completely flexible and can cover anything which will help you to develop both your navigation skills, and your ability to teach navigation techniques to your group, whatever your level of experience.

We will meet at Tring railway station at 11.30am and will be back there by 4.00pm. There is ample
parking at the station and the times above have been chosen to help those travelling by train.
