Scout Premises Safety Audits

If you have an Executive Committee role, and are therefore a Charity Trustee, you should have received information about a new Scout Premises Safety Audit process. All the information and the audit tool can be found here and there is a recorded webinar here which explains further.

If your Group, Unit or District own premises of any sort you need to undertake this audit at least once a year. If you use a church or school hall, you need to find out if the owners are doing similar checks and ask to see the evidence.
