GLN Summer Hillwalking Weekend 2025

GLN Summer Hillwalking weekend based out of Edale in the Peak District.
Weekend date: Friday 6th – Sunday 8th June 2025.
Venue: Ollerbrook Farm, Edale, Derbyshire S33 7ZG – https://www.ollerbrookfarm.
The weekend is intended to offer leaders the opportunity to gain walking experience in the upland environment along with providing them with the training required to gain a summer Terrain 1 hillwalking permit. We are also hoping to offer natural rock climbing along with the usual hillwalking, all with qualified instructors and permit holders. The weekends are a good social event with like minded leaders from every district in GLN. Any leader is welcome to book on no previous experience necessary. Groups will be split based on ability and previous experience.
Current Terrain 1 or Terrain 2 permit holders are also welcome to book onto this weekend if they wish to use it to gain further hillwalking experience.
Accommodation: Indoors, shared bunk rooms and camping.
Cost: £85 per person. The cost includes minibus transport from north London, accommodation / camp fee’s, food from Saturday morning to Sunday lunch and use of any equipment as required.
