Do you know Enfield’s next District Lead Volunteer?

Date: 11th Sep 2024 Author: Steve Way

Katie Davis recently stepped down from her role as District Lead Volunteer for Enfield Scout District to pursue further studies.  On behalf of the County and the District Trustee Board, I would like to express my sincere thanks for all of her hard work and dedication in the role over the last 5 years.

As a result we are now recruiting for its next inspirational volunteer (or team of volunteers) to lead Enfield District.  Please click to download the pack which contains detailed information about the role as well as 2 application forms which volunteers can use to either express their interest in the role or to nominate someone else for consideration.  We would love to hear from you if you would like to apply or if you would like to find out more information about the role.  The deadline for all applications is Wednesday 25th September 2024.

I look forward to hearing from you, in the meantime and until such time as a new DLV is in place, I will be acting as Enfield’s Interim District Lead Volunteer.

I am also delighted to announce that Katie has agreed to take on the role of Assistant County Commissioner International (ACCI).  Katie will be responsible for supporting and leading international scouting within the County, including assisting leaders who may be considering trips abroad and ensuring that all of the required paperwork for the trip is signed off in a timely manner.  Katie’s new email address is international@gln-scouts.org.uk.
