Summer Hillwalking Permit Training Weekend 2023

The County Mountaineering Team are running a summer hillwalking permit training weekend in the Lake District from Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th June 2023 and there are a few places remaining.

The weekend is a great opportunity for any leader / young leader who wants to work towards gaining a summer hillwalking permit and no prior experience is necessary. We want to enable as many leaders as possible to get their young people out into the hills, and the weekend will be tailored to the abilities and experience of those who come along.

Accommodation is indoors at a Scout owned activity the the village of Hawkshead, Lake District. Cost is £70 per person and includes minibus transport to and from the Lake District, accommodation, and food from Saturday morning to Sunday lunch.
