Overview
“Programmes in a Box” has been produced as part of the Greater London North County Development Project – which recognises that the quality of a Colony, Pack or Troop programme is key to recruiting and retaining young people into the Movement, and that supporting adults is key to recruiting, motivating and retaining volunteers.
Four Year Rolling Programme
Based on a four-year rolling programme, “Programmes in a Box” will make it easier for new and existing leaders to plan and deliver high quality Scouting to more young people. The activities suggested will see a young person through Scouting, enjoying a balance of programme zones and methods, introducing new experiences and enabling them to acheve many of our badges and awards.
