County AGM 2017
THURSDAY 11 MAY 2017 at 7.30pm
The 2017 Annual General Meeting of the Greater London North Scout County will take place on Thursday 11 May 2017 at 7.30pm, at Scout Park, Gordon Road, London N11 2PB
The following documents for the AGM will be made available when ready:
- Minutes of the 2016 AGM
- Trustees Report 2016 and Statement of Financial Activities for year ending 31 December 2016
A limited number of paper copies of these documents will be available at the meeting but it would be helpful if you can print your own copies beforehand.
The following County officials will be elected at the AGM:
- County Secretary
- County Treasurer
- Members of the Executive Committee
- Nominated Member and Nominated Youth Member representatives to the Council of the Association
In addition, the Independent Examiner will be appointed.
The names of the current office holders are listed in last year’s Minutes. Members of the County Scout Council are entitled to nominate candidates for these roles, but, before doing so, should consider whether the candidate has the personal and professional skills and qualifications, and the time, to undertake the roles efficiently and effectively. You should also seek their permission before putting their name forward. Nominations should be sent to the County Secretary to arrive by Monday 8th May 2017 by email to countysecretary@gln-scouts.
If you have questions you wish to ask or suggestions to make regarding the Trustees Report or Statement of Financial Activities, it would be helpful for them to be registered with the County Treasurer before the meeting. Any such queries should be sent by email to countytreasurer@gln-scouts.
